Purchased this book hoping for an in-depth discussion on using the sock machine ribber, but this book (pamphlet would be a more apt title) didn't deliver. There was very limited content, no evidence of editorial guidance (replete with syntax, punctuation and spelling errors) and the pictures were low-quality black and white photos which did little to clarify the content. Not what I was expecting. Way overpriced for the amount of content. Save your money.Product details

Written in an informal way this may well suit some but I found the use of American colloquialism confusing.
Pictures are all in monochrome, not all are of sharp picture quality one would expect in 2011.
This booklet is very amateurishly put together even though the cover looks inviting.
I certainly would not have bought this booklet if I had been able to browse through it first.

Great for beginners. The typos don't bother me, the information is good. Looking forward to trying my ribber after reading!

It is a great book for the beginner, wish the pictures were a bit clearer and more of them. The price is way to high for what you get.
I just received this book and read it cover to cover. You are walked step by step through installing, adjusting and using a ribber. I have the first book and find I refer back to it when I have a question or problem. Videos are fine but I still like to have books when I have questions. If you have any ribber problems or questions I recommend this book.....thanks.....lorraine
Good explanation on use and set up of equipment. Very useful to new users. Well worth the read and photos and machine comparisons. Some text/grammar issues are minor and do not inhibit the great amount you learn.
